Odeon and Vue preparing for Cineworld

Odeon and Vue, which hold 35 per cent and 20 per cent of the UK cinema market respectively, are said to be preparing a joint bid for Cineworld, which holds another 25 per cent of the sector. Cineworld, which runs 79 cinemas, has been valued at some £300 million.
