New cinema complex creates opportunities

That banging you hear outside your classrooms, film students, is the sound of a new era. With a blockbuster ceremony last year, including Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and a montage of USC’s solid position in Hollywood history, USC christened the School of Cinematic Arts, giving the proceedings that feeling in the movie where the ugly duckling becomes a swan.
