I grew up across the street from Gordon Brinckle in the small town of Middletown, Delaware. Gordon was born in 1915, and as a boy he fell in love with the grand old movie palaces, most of which have now been demolished. During World War II he worked as a projectionist for the US Army, showing the latest Hollywood movies to boost the troops
