Digital cinema to benefit the film industry

For more than hundred years, the film industry has been using the same analog method of film production and projection. However, it costs Rs 60,000 per print to make a movie in an analog way. Because of its exorbitant costs, it becomes difficult to produce many prints and distribute them to all the centres at the same time.
