Demolition of the Odeon Doncaster Decision 30-6-09

Consent for demolition of the Gaumont/Odeon Doncaster a decision was made on 30-6-09 by the Doncaster Planning Committee taking all relevent matters into consideration, the application was granted.
Lazarus Properties the owners of the site will start demolition soon. Doncasters cinema historian Ron Curry is to have the first swing when demolition starts.
The FRIEZE by Mr William Edward Trent which adorned the facade is to be saved and used in the new development.
