Kurt Schwenk is the General Manager of the Digital Cinema Division at NEC Solutions (America) (NECSAM). He’s appeared twice before (on March 24, 2005 and August 2, 2005) on Entertainment Technology World to talk about the latest developments in the field of digital cinema, a process which involves the creation of digital files containing all the information necessary to generate beams of light that project moving images on a screen, the secure transfer and storage of this information in theaters, and the projection of those digitally-stored images on a screen.
