It’s not a guide to the richest people in film, or the ones with the greatest green-lighting power, or the most prolific. It’s Film&Music’s ?attempt to determine who wields the greatest influence on which films you get to see when you go to the cinema on a Saturday evening, or turn on the TV to catch a movie. Our definition of power is this: the ability to shape the experience of film viewing in the UK. That means it’s not just a list of British film figures. Nor is it a run-through of Hollywood moguls: everyone on our list has to have demonstrable influence within the UK.
