Cinema and the authorities

Over 4 billion roubles will be allocated by the Russian government to support Russian cinema in 2011. This figure was specified at a session of the Governmental council on the development of Russian cinema which took place outside Moscow on the 1st of February, with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in the chair.
