Barco Confirms Market Share of 40 Percent as DLP Cinema Projectors Break Through 50,000 Unit Barrier

On the occasion of CineAsia 2011, Digital Cinema pioneer Barco announced that its Digital Cinema projector install base currently represents 40% of the total DLP Cinema®-based projector fleet worldwide. Barco’s communication follows earlier press releases issued by Texas Instruments DLP Cinema® and one of its licensees.
