Dutch cinema sound system CineEurope accompanying move to Spain.
Taking place June 18 to 21, the CineEurope European cinema convention will open for business: For the first time in Barcelona, Spain after years of residence in Amsterdam The Netherlands.
No longer on “home-turf”, Alcons Audio joint the moving to Barcelona: At the coming convention, Alcons Audio will be present with a booth and joins forces with Sony Europe in demonstrating the latest in cinema picture and sound.

Alcons brings to Barcelona her latest cinema developments, among which the production version of her Cinemarray screen system. This evolutionary system addresses all requirements dictated by the Digital Cinema standard, by utilizing Alcons’ renowned pro-ribbon based line-array technology. Specifically aimed at medium to large applications, the systems offer maximum projection control for reduced influence of room acoustics and superb, non-compressed 1:1 digital sound reproduction.
The system was recently installed in CinemaxX Mannheim Germany and received raving reviews.
Another novelty is the CRS8 pro-ribbon surround: By utilizing identical componentry as the screen systems, the CRS8 offers the same voicing for the surround channels. This makes the screen and surround channels blend perfectly, for a homogenuous sound stage.
A further selection of Alcons’ C-series will be on display, including the CR1 ultra-compact screen system, with 8-in system depth and the newly introduced CR3 medium-sized 3-way screen system.
The upcoming CB151sl,will be previewed: the ultra-slim, 25m/10″ deep subwoofer for smaller-sized cinemas and medium-sized home-theatres.
