African Diaspora International Film Festival in NYC Marks 30th Year

The African Diaspora International Film Festival will kick off its 30th anniversary season, NYADIFF 2022, on Friday, November 25. Running through December 11, this year’s festival opens with Senuwell Smith and Rodrick F. Wimberly’s “The Woodstock of House,” which celebrates the 25th anniversary of Chicago’s annual Chosen Few Music Festival and the dance music genre born in the city. The festival will close with Jacinto Taras Riddick’s “A Brother’s Whisper.” Gala screenings include Roger Ellis’ “Get Out Alive,” Petr Lom’s “Angels on Diamond Street” and Christopher Chambers’ “A Fire Within.”
