To quote Mexican filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, “Cinema is a mirror by which we often see ourselves.” With that in mind, the act of filmmaking can be seen as a way of capturing the spirit and themes of the culture that made it.By that logic, Israeli films can speak volumes about Israeli society, and Amy Kronish has seen more Israeli films than almost anyone.
