B&B Theaters at Mall of America installing Minnesota’s first Screenx immersive-cinema system

B&B Theaters at Mall of America is installing what it says is Minnesota’s first ScreenX system, a theatrical-viewing method that projects films on multiple surfaces to offer a more immersive picture than the standard movie-theater screen. The ScreenX system, which is owned by South Korea-based CJ 4DPLEX Co. Ltd., projects elements of the film onto the sides of the auditorium, creating a 270 degree field of view.
