A beloved Liverpool cinema that was known for “projecting Hollywood” to the people of Liverpool for decades saw one customer return 400 times to see the same film.Located on London Road, many will remember having a first date, night out with loved ones or attending some of the city’s biggest gigs at The Odeon, which opened on October 15, 1934.
Starting life out as one of the seven UK Paramount Theatres, it cost £240,000 to build and was the largest cinema in Merseyside.
