Birmingham’s ‘Mr Cinema’ John Brockington dies

Tributes have been paid to Birmingham’s ‘Mr Cinema’ who has died.

John Brockington, aged 72, was one of the city’s last traditional projectionists and ended up on the silver screen himself when he starred in a documentary film.
