Blue Quran: A rare 1,000-year-old masterpiece

Art critic Alastair Sooke travels to Doha’s Museum of Islamic Art, where he is given special behind-the-scenes access to the museum’s conservation department to learn about what is considered one of the most beautiful Qurans ever made. He finds out about some of the design principles behind this most sacred of objects at the museum.
