Celebrating 100 years since first film shown in Thornbury

It is 100 years since the first film was shown in Thornbury.

Politician and businessman Edmund Cullimore, who among other achievements helped bring electricity to the town, built Thornbury Picture House in 1919 under the advice of his daughter.
