With the improvement of the COVID-19 epidemic situation in China, the full-dome cinema of the China Science and Technology Museum will be reopened to the public on Saturday (Aug 22) after a seven-month closure.
China Science and Technology Museum full-dome cinema has the world’s most advanced real 8K laser digital projection system and IMAX film projection equipment, and is currently the largest real 8K full-dome cinema.
The cinema can not only show IMAX films and 8K digital films but also display celestial bodies and stars, showing solar and lunar eclipses, phase changes and other astronomical phenomena.
