During CinemaCon 2019, Sony will offer attendees the opportunity to see movies in a new light. Joining forces with Galaxy Theatres, a state-of-the-art movie theater company, Sony is bringing the world’s first premium large-format (PLF) Sony Digital Cinema auditorium to their Las Vegas Boulevard Mall location. Sony Digital Cinema is a new PLF experience that includes Sony’s dual laser projection system, along with powerful sound and luxury reclining seats. CinemaCon attendees are encouraged to visit the theatre to experience this new advancement in PLF cinemas firsthand, during its opening week.
In addition, demonstrations of the SRX-R815P laser projection solution will be held in Pompeian Ballroom II at Caesars Palace from April 2-4. The next-generation projector boasts an industry-leading contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and offers operational efficiency, along with increased immersion for vibrant imagery that matches the filmmaker’s original intent. Top theater chains across the globe have standardized on these 4K laser models. The SRX-815DS is just one of the technologies helping Sony develop and design unforgettable movie-going experiences.
