When Josh Gardner of Cinema Lamont received a text from Paula Guthat of Cinema Detroit about doing something for Ukraine, he didn’t hesitate to say yes. Immediately, he thought of “The Earth Is Blue As An Orange,” which he saw two years ago at the Berlin Film Festival right before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.
