Developers have filed papers with the council looking to get a late night entertainment and alcohol licence for a vacant plot of land in Kings Dock Street in the Baltic creative area of the city centre.
The cinema, which would have the largest movie screen in Merseyside, would have space for 78 cars – with chalets around the sides of the site to provide street food in a similar experience to the Christmas market.
