The most outrageous, era-defining comedy of its time, Universal Pictures’ FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH returns to theaters for its 40th Anniversary. In August 1982, more than a decade before she wrote and directed CLUELESS, filmmaker Amy Heckerling made her directorial debut alongside first-time screenwriter and future Oscar winner Cameron Crowe (ALMOST FAMOUS) with this iconic, inside view of teenage American life.
The all-star cast includes future Academy Award winner Sean Penn, future Oscar nominee Jennifer Jason Leigh, Phoebe Cates, Judge Reinhold and Ray Walston. FAST TIMES also marked the film debut of future Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage and co-starred future Emmy winner Anthony Edwards (ER) and future Oscar winner Forest Whitaker.
