Federico Fellini’s 1954 classic “La Strada” is often cited by renowned filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese as a primary influence. Even if you’ve already seen “La Strada,” the new 4K restoration by the Criterion Collection and The Film Foundation at Cineteca di Bologna’s L’Immagine Ritrovata laboratory, from a 35mm dupe negative preserved by Beta Film GmbH, makes this extraordinary film well worth another look.
