Fire-hit disused Hartlepool cinema to be demolished

A disused cinema which was badly damaged in a fire is to be knocked down.The large blaze broke out at the former Odeon cinema on Dent Road in Hartlepool on 5 October. Hartlepool Borough Council said the Grade II listed building was structurally unsafe and beyond repair.
