Glasgow, 5 July 2012. After half a lifetime in the UK film business, Gow Gibson has joined Park Circus. Cinema and films are in Gow’s blood, his father ran a cinema and he spent many of his formative years working in picture palaces and fleapits alike. Despite his best efforts he couldn’t shake the family inheritance and he went on to work for Odeon cinemas for eight years and Disney for thirteen. After 21 years of solid gold experience in film distribution and exhibition, Gow joins Park Circus to become our new Head of Distribution. At Disney Gow was UK Commercial Sales Manager and has relocated from London to Scotland to take the job. Gow says: “At Park Circus I’m looking forward to joining the leading theatrical licencing company in the world and helping to cement its reputations and grow its business. I’m also looking forward to finally being able to buy a kilt.”
