Guildford Odeon has put in a planning application to extend its cinema into the vacant Old Orleans restaurant.
The once-loved large, white building has laid empty next to the multi-screen cinema for years, but could finally be about to be given a new lease of life in the form of two new auditoriums built inside it.
A planning application posted to the Guildford Borough Council (GBC) website on Monday (February 17) signals an intention to change the site’s use from a restaurant to a cinema.
