The picture shows the old Odeon cinema in High Town that was demolished in the 1980s to make way for the Maylord Orchards Shopping Centre.The building that became the ‘new’ Odeon when the one in High Town was replaced was the ABC cinema in Commercial Road that was formally the Ritz.
