The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has seen cinemas across the country shut their doors to viewers.
As film production stalled, new film releases were delayed and viewers felt weary of returning to enclosed spaces, the cinema industry has been left in an uncertain position.
In October, Cineworld closed its 128 cinemas across the UK and Ireland as the industry had become ‘unviable’ because of delays in major film releases, including the new James Bond feature No Time To Die.
Small, independent cinemas in Croydon are no different and are facing the same problems as the rest of the industry.
