It’s a film movement, away from all the glittery flashlights, all the limelight, and all those shutterbugs. Earlier in March this year, we had reported how a group of young amateur filmmakers, including the children of sex workers and the enthusiastic youth of Kalighat’s red-light area, have found a new purpose in their lives. How they are transforming the not-so-welcomed portion of our society into a film community.
