Ambitious plans to turn a former lifeboat station in Hoylake into a cinema and restaurant have been unveiled by a community group.
The “Beacon” centre would see a single screen cinema with associated cafe/bistro, restaurant and display space built on the site of the old lifeboat station on North Parade, which is now home to Hoylake Lifeboat Museum.
The original building would remain, with an extension housing the cinema, restaurant and exhibition space.
