An 85-year-old cinema in north west London is on its way to becoming co-living and co-working – the first of its kind in the borough.
The Savoy, a former 2,000-seat grade II listed cinema in Burnt Oak will see its exterior restored, bringing the abandoned building back into use since it closed in 2014.
The cinema, built in 1936 by architect George Coles had become neglected and subsequently began to decline with its plaster-work said to be crumbling.
