ICE THEATERS®, the market’s leading immersive and high-end theater screen format, is delighted to announce its opening of two ICE THEATERS® in partnership with major Spanish exhibitor OCINE. The first ICE Theaters® will open to the public for the worldwide release of Top Gun: Maverick, in May 2022, in Barcelona.
ICE THEATERS® combines premium design, and excellence in sound and image technologies. The revolutionary ICE IMMERSIVE® visual experience continues to meet the ever-growing demand from audiences for immersive cinematic experiences. With an extensive film line-up for 2021 that includes 24 blockbusters featured using ICE IMMERSIVE® technology, such as Warner Bros’s DUNE, Walt Disney Studios’s FREE GUY and Universal Pictures’s FAST AND FURIOUS 9, and 21 titles for 2020 amid the pandemic, OCINE will operate its first premium screen with ICE THEATERS® in its best-in-class cinemas.
