Lincoln’s new four screen Everyman Cinema is edging ever closer to becoming one of the star attractions of the £70m Cornhill Quarter regeneration. Contractor Lindum is fitting the big windows into position, giving shoppers an enticing hint of what the three-storey glass-fronted picture house will really look like.

Cinemagoers will be able to watch the latest blockbusters as well as classic movies from early next year.

Hand-rolled pizzas and a wide range of drinks will be available on the roof top terrace bar where customers can also take in breathtaking views of the cathedral.

A new bar and restaurant called The Botanist, which specialises in exquisite cocktails, will occupy 8,000 sq ft over two floors of the stunning glazed unit, with a ground floor terrace overlooking a new piazza called Exchange Square.
