Local theaters face digital decision point

Two of this area’s single-screen, independent movie houses — the Springs Theater in downtown Glenwood Springs and the Crystal Theater in Carbondale — will either have to come up with a hefty chunk of money soon to convert to a digital format, or face the possibility of closing their doors.
