New 13-screen Cinemark theater with XD technology opens in Carson

Cinemark Carson, the first movie theater to operate in the city since the mid-1990s, opens Thursday with showings of “San Andreas,” “Tomorrowland,” “Poltergeist,” “Pitch Perfect 2,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Aloha” and “Mad Max: Fury Road.”
