Nottinghamshire church doubles up as cinema – Nottingham Post

Several churches have launched cafes in the hope of generating revenue and getting more use out of often-empty buildings. One in Kent doubles up as a credit union bank while another in West Hampstead also serves as a Post Office.Now a church in Carlton is taking things further. It has become a community cinema. On Sundays, “Let there be light” is a reminder of the Creation. On Fridays it is a cue for the projectionist.
