Plan to transform derelict town centre pub into bar and cinema

New plans to convert a former pub in Bovey Tracey into a new 118-seat cinema theatre with a café, bar and a restaurant have been proposed. More than £288,000 was raised back in 2017 to save the derelict 16th century pub in Bovey Tracey, the historic King of Prussia, situated in Fore Street. The group behind the project, Bovey Tracey Paradiso Arts, back in November 2018 completed the purchase of the Grade II-listed building.

Planning permission was granted back in 2018 for the conversion and extension of the former pub into art centre with art gallery, artists’ studios, cinema/theatre and cafe/bar including the demolition of outbuildings.
