Producing live events, a cut above with AJA

Imagine, you’ve snagged seats to a sold-out concert, but in the nosebleed section. You can’t make out the performing artist’s facial expressions, so you watch the LED screen located nearest you for most of the show. If the on-screen sound, video, and graphics don’t line up with what you can see happening on stage, the overall experience is tarnished.

Ensuring low-latency I/O across the production chain as video moves between graphics and edit suites and back to in-venue displays and digital devices is one way teams can preserve lip sync. It’s a workflow that’s fulfilled by AJA’s new KONA IP25 SMPTE 2110 I/O card for macOS, Windows, and Linux, which features dual 25GbE SFPs.
