Projects focus on disappearing projectionist

Over the last couple of months, a number of projects have emerged that focus on the role of the projectionist, and his (or her) near disappearance from cinemas. Due to the rise of digital cinema, the number of projectionists and technical staff in cinemas has greatly diminished. These different projects want to document the dying profession and the projectionist’s view towards digital cinema.
