Sahara Karimi confesses plea to film community when Taliban takes control

Sahara KarimiAfghan filmmaker and director of Afghan film, the state-owned film company, she seeks help from the film industry around the world as her country falls into the Taliban rebellion.Effectively dominated by the Taliban Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country on Sunday after occupying the capital, Kabul, overthrowing the current administration.

The United States has evacuated embassy staff and troops have been dispatched to control Kabul Airport to help evacuate thousands of people fleeing the new regime.Karimi posted a statement on Twitter for “all the film communities in the world.”
