Setting the Agenda for Giant Screen Research

In the more than 40 years since the first giant screen film, there has been no purposeful research that has examined any of the claims and assumptions about the giant screen and its potential impact on learning. In the 2012 paper, Fraser et. al., wrote that there is no research or evaluation that supports industry claims that these films influence, enhance, or contribute to learning in a more meaningful way than other media used in museums.
