Single-screen exhibitors to go on strike from October 12

PUNE: Moviegoers from lower and middle classes may find themselves in a fix next month, as single-screen theatre owners in the state plan to go on an indefinite strike from October 12. Exhibitors say the state government is charging them ‘exorbitant’ taxes.
