A couple described as “chalk and cheese” by their family are believed to be one of the youngest in Britain to celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary.
Patricia Pratt, 76, and husband Denis, 78, will celebrate 60 years of marriage on Thursday, October 7, surrounded by family.
The couple, who live in Heswall, met over 60 years ago when both worked at the Birkenhead Ritz Cinema.
