A 110-year-old Ramsgate building is being given a new lease of life – as a Hindu temple. The old King’s Theatre off King Street has stood since 1910, and it was used as a cinema and theatre until 1982. The rectifier burnt out in November of that year, and as owners Classic Cinemas also owned the former Odeon where Iceland now stands, they decided not to spend any more money on it.
