Wakefield Council accused of vandalism in wanting to demolish former cinema

Fears are growing that Wakefield Council is intending to demolish one of the city’s best-known landmarks, the former Regal/ABC cinema on the corner of Kirkgate.

The art deco building has now stood empty for more than 20 years.
