On Tuesday 3rd February, Finch & Partners and Jaeger-LeCoultre, hosted the second annual lunch in celebration of ‘The Women in Cinema’ at Maison Assouline, London. The lunch took place five days before the BAFTAs and a fortnight before the Academy Awards at a particularly exciting and prominent time in the film industry’ s annual calendar.
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s affinity with the 7th Art is all about two worlds infused with the same creative effervescence, inspired from a longstanding tradition and the absolute quest of excellence. Jaeger-LeCoultre gives a particular support to those who daily contribute to create and bring life to the art of filmmaking, and attaches great importance to the preservation of its heritage. It is this heritage and deep roots in cinema that make Jaeger-LeCoultre such an apt partner to host this event with Finch & Partners.
Following lunch, Mariella Frostrup led a Q&A with renowned Casting Director Lucinda Syson.
Last year’s lunch was co-hosted by Debra Hayward and Alison Owen, both of whom were in attendance this year too.
